Cancellation and Refunds

This Policy explains the free trial, plan changes, subscription cancellation, failed payments, and refund requests for SignalRelay.

Seven-day trial

A new public account receives one seven-day trial for its selected Solo, Builder, or Studio plan. No card is required. The trial starts when the account is created, not when the first Signal is sent. The trial does not renew or create a charge by itself.

Plan changes

Use the Stripe Customer Portal from the SignalRelay Billing page. An upgrade can take effect immediately and can create a prorated charge or credit in Stripe. A downgrade is scheduled for the end of the current paid period. Existing resources remain, but a lower plan can stop new resource creation until usage is within its limits.

Cancel a subscription

  1. Sign in to SignalRelay.
  2. Open Billing.
  3. Select Manage billing.
  4. Schedule cancellation in the Stripe Customer Portal.

Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Paid access continues through that date. The subscription does not renew after cancellation takes effect. If you cannot open the Portal, email support@signalrelay.dev from the account email.

Failed or incomplete payment

Update payment details through Manage billing when a subscription is past due. If no paid period or local trial remains, the account enters collection-only access. SignalRelay continues to accept Signals for seven-day retention, but Agents cannot start new Claims. Active Claims can finish. Successful payment restores access to Signals that are still retained.

Refund requests

Subscription payments are generally not refundable, and cancellation does not create a prorated refund for unused time. This rule does not limit a refund required by law. If you believe that SignalRelay charged you in error, contact Support within 30 days of the charge. Include the account email, charge date, amount, and Stripe receipt ID. Do not send payment card data.

We review an error or exceptional refund request individually. Approval is not guaranteed. An approved refund is sent to the original payment method through Stripe. Bank processing time can delay when the credit appears.

Data after cancellation

Canceling a subscription does not delete the account. After paid access and any remaining trial end, collection-only retention is seven days. Older Signals can be removed on the next retention run and cannot be restored by a later payment. To request account deletion, follow the process on the Support page.
