Terms of Service

These Terms apply when you create an account, buy a subscription, or use SignalRelay. Read them before you use the service.

Last updated: August 13, 2026

1. Your agreement

By creating an account or using SignalRelay, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use SignalRelay for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a contract.

2. The service

SignalRelay accepts authenticated webhook requests and CloudEvents as Signals, stores them for the applicable retention period, routes them to one assigned Agent, and records Claim state. SignalRelay does not run your Agent, transform your payload, build a workflow, or guarantee that an outside provider or your Agent will work.

3. Accounts and credentials

Give accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the safe storage of passwords, recovery codes, Agent tokens, Relay secrets, and connected-client tokens. Tell Support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share an account or credential in a way that bypasses plan or security controls.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use SignalRelay to:

  • break a law or another person's rights;
  • send malware, abusive traffic, spam, or content meant to harm a system or person;
  • probe, bypass, or disrupt security, rate, storage, billing, or access controls;
  • collect or process data without the notices, rights, or permission that you need;
  • resell the service or provide access to an unrelated third party without written approval; or
  • use the service for a high-risk system where a missed, delayed, or altered Signal could cause death, personal injury, or severe physical damage.

5. Your Signals and content

You keep your rights in the content that you send. You give SignalRelay the limited right to receive, store, copy, secure, route, and delete that content only as needed to operate, protect, and support the service. You are responsible for the content and for having the right to send and process it. Do not send regulated, highly sensitive, or secret data unless you have decided that the service and your plan are suitable for it.

6. Trials, plans, and payment

Public plans start with one seven-day trial. A paid subscription renews each month until it is canceled. Stripe processes payment and manages the hosted Checkout and Customer Portal. Plan limits, price, and retention are shown on the Pricing and Billing pages. Accepted Signal limits are soft limits during launch, but security, payload, rate, and storage controls still apply.

Plan changes, cancellation, failed payment, and refunds follow the Cancellation and Refunds Policy.

7. Changes and availability

SignalRelay can change, suspend, limit, or stop a feature to maintain security, reliability, or the product. We will try to give reasonable notice when a material planned change affects paid use. The service is provided as available. No uptime or response-time promise applies unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

8. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and cancel a subscription. SignalRelay can limit or suspend access when use creates a security, legal, payment, or operational risk or breaks these Terms. We can close an account after notice when practical. Signal retention can continue for the plan period or a shorter safety period, and some billing, security, and audit records can remain as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent allowed by law, SignalRelay is provided without implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. SignalRelay is not responsible for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or the conduct of an outside provider or Agent.

To the extent allowed by law, SignalRelay's total responsibility for a claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the three months before the event that caused the claim. This limit does not apply where law does not allow it.

10. Changes to these Terms

We can update these Terms. We will post the new date on this page and give notice of a material change when practical. Continued use after the effective date means that you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and cancel before they take effect.
